In 1987 we rented from Pastor Hodge and rented from him until Hurricane Irma in 2017. Hurricane Louis destroyed the original building and he added more apartments that were ready for us the following winter.
We watched his children grow up and he watched ours do the same. We were like family.
Les Alice's was our happy place. He even named rooms after us. After Irma and some health issues, we have not been back. We miss it so much.
Mark, We remember when you lived in the building behind us. You have done a wonderful job preserving the Islands history.
