Coloring and activity books are a great way to help kids build skills and knowledge in many areas, including local nature and heritage. Learn how to make your own coloring or activity book! We have hosted a hands-on workshop at the St. Martin Book Fair and will be hosting another at the 2024 BirdsCaribbean International Conference. Contact us to schedule a workshop with your group! Readability
Kids at the age you are targeting should be able to read your book. You can test readability here: Online Readability Tester. Paste your text in the box and select the first option (Average Reading Level Consensus Calc). This will give you good estimate of how easy it is to read your text. If the text you are testing is too short, you could paste it twice or combine multiple short texts and test them at the same time.
