We were thrilled to have a Soualiwomen Kultural Association (SKA) Johnny Cake workshop at Amuseum Naturalis at The Old House! Participants learned how to make Johnny Cakes and see them cooked in traditional barrel ovens. There was also an introduction to steelpan, courtesy of the Gunslingers Steel Band. Both activities featured great examples of Caribbean upcycling of oil barrels. Thanks to SKA for putting on the workshop, the Gunslingers and everyone who attended!
